Post-Holiday Shuffle P.S...

I wanted to share some pictures from my time at home...and let you know I will be working on another amature video for my Marketing class soon, so stay tuned for my brilliant (jk!) production. Picures are of Me @ Rockefeller Plaza, Me and Grandma, Mikey as a fashion-forward snowboarder, and Paul and I in NYC!

Post-Holiday Shuffle

Hello Hello,

I had a very tiring but productive week last week. After retuning back from Holiday I jumped right into school work because of a big presentation I was giving as a group project. On Friday my group and I (for a midterm grade) pitched to two designers on the future objectives and messages of their brand HEMYCA (www.hemyca.com). This was part of my Promotions class and we were presenting as if we were a PR agency to help them define and steer their business in the right direction. It was a fun experience to be in front of "real" industry clients. I'm not sure how our work was received yet, but I will let you know when I do.
I took all my other midterms before I left for Holiday and have been getting my grades back as I attend classes this week. So far I have already received two 10's!! Amazing...(10 is the best you can receive, and the grades are doubled b/c they are midterms) so thats always good news! Right now I'm just trying my best to stay organized and making sure my priorities are in line...not that they weren't before. School is always #1 but I'm also looking into some work experience and perhaps some freelance writing in the local papers...lots to think about and not enough time.
I'm looking forward to my dad being in London this weekend! He will be here on business, but we have made plans to meet up Saturday. Always good to get a good meal out of visitors...tuna, mac and cheese and hummus on crackers can get a bit boring!!
Anyways, back to work right now...more exams this week....this school is on crack I swear!!! Exams every 2 weeks...I barely have time to let anything sink in. Only 5 months to go; they will be here and gone before I know it, but I've got plenty to keep me busy until then.

Hugs and Kisses...especially you Grandma...I know you check this everyday!!

Sorry its been so long!

Hi All,

I'm so sorry! I kind of fell off the Blogging waggon after Thanksgiving... I hope everyone had a fantastic Holiday season. I know I did! It was so tough to get on the plane again after enjoying such a great time with my friends, family and fiance over the Christmas and New Years holiday. I was home in Baltimore for 2 weeks and just returned to London this morning. My eyes and body are fighting me for sleep right now, but I have a HUGE presentation to give on Friday...nothing like jumping right back in after a vacation!!
I enjoyed an action-packed eventful vacation. After arriving home on Dec. 23 I went to Nordys to finish up some XMas shopping and of course to catch up with all my friends at the store. It was so nice to see everyone, and it sounds like everything is pretty much the same over there!
My Dad took the family out for what has now become a XMas Eve tradition of Lunch at Ruth's Chris...(the first "real" food I've eaten in a long time; it was delicious). Paul joined me XMas morning at my parents house for breakfast and present opening. Later that day we went to his family's house for dinner and present. It was fun watching baby Colin ripping into his presents from Santa! I got him a Paddington Bear lunchbox...
The 26th-27th Paul and I went to NYC for a night. We took the bus up (it might be cheap but it aint comfortable!) We had a great time: ate at Bobby Flay's restaurant Bar Americain, took a horse carriage ride in CP and enjoyed some true NYC diner food for breakfast the next day.
After unwinding for a day and watching the Ravens secure their spot in the playoffs (YAY!), I enjoyed a very girly day of wedding dress shopping with Kristin, my mom and Pauls mom Katie. It didn't take long to find "the one". It is perfect! Totally suits my style and personality and makes me look amazing...what more could a girl ask for? Paul and I also found a ceremony and reception site in DC. The "Rotunda" room at the Ronald Reagan Building (down the street from the White House). We haven't booked yet, but I'm 99% sure this is where weill will be. Paul and I are SUPER excited about getting married.
Anyways...I'm sure there is more to say but I'm exhausted and the Benedryl I am taking is forcing me into a coma...I have to get healthy!
Love to everyone
